A recent exercise on behalf of one of our clients has got me thinking.  When did you last pick up the telephone and made a courtesy call to those customers of which you arent in regular contact with and ask the following:-

How do you think we are doing as a business?

Is there anything we can do to improve our service?

Do you mind regular calls and emails from us?

Is there anything that i can help you with at this moment in time?

We under took a similar exercise and the what we found was astonishing.  Customers glad to here from you and that they were happy to receive both emails and calls.  Orders placed for products whilst the courtesy calls being made and helped identify areas which they requried help.

So what do i suggest, if you dont have the time to do this in house by your team then outsource.  you will be amazed at the results and just what you will find out from your customers.

This week saw the successful launch of a Recycling campaign on behalf of one of our major clients.

The objective was to set appointments on behalf of one of their account managers. The results were fantastic with a return rate of over 13% on the calls made.

On presenting the results our client commented “we were extremely pleased with the work carried out on our behalf. Call2action did a fantastic job and we are looking forward to working with the guys going forward on a monthly basis.”

This week has seen a hype of activity with the telemarketing division of Office Friendly – Call2Action. Data cleansing, appointment setting and a raft of new business from new clients all generated through telemarketing.

The clients, all within the hotels sector across the UK, are all embarking on a range of different lead generation campaigns to help generate new business.

We have successfully re-launched our website, which now has a responsive design which enables it to be viewed on a wide variety of different platforms ranging from iPads to Smart phones - without the content being affected.

The site contains a wide variety of information geared around lead generation and the range of services that we offer and how we can help businesses generate new business.

Our systems allow us to access over 4 million business records within the UK and we can generate you any type of business list based on your search criteria. Alternatively, you could use our database cleansing service and ensure that you get the most out of your marketing campaigns by targeting the right contact, at the right time with the right promotion.

There will also be a large amount of free resources and content based around telemarketing to help those businesses who undertake this type of lead generation in house. Last month saw the launch of a new comparison website only available to charities throughout the UK and who are members of the Charities Buying Group. The task for Call2Action was to help get the message out to their members through email marketing and then followed up by telemarketing calls to register the interested charities.

Major brand Ricoh recently undertook work to help identify which office products dealers currently purchase their brand, how they perceive their brand and Ricoh can help build margin.
